These craft have one main function: Front Lines Combat in events of war or incursion.

They have more firepower then many can imagine.

They are called Swords by the Altronians often enough.
Their main Deck gun uses something called a Blade Lazer, which really is more complext then most will realize. Combined fire at once form a plane of energy from the craft of concentrated energy that have been tested against a BlackHole at one point, and forced the core to erupt destroying the singularity utterly.

This test was done outside the galactic plane. As the radiation and energy would have been fatal to many nearby worlds. (Gamma Ray Burst was clearly seen)

Humans advanced enough to notice it litterally said the ship looked like a sword when it fired its weapon.

There are many, many other experimental or never discussed weapons that bristle the surface of the craft, who's effect can only be guessed at.

It is believed this craft's existence is the only reason the GORAC's have not invaded the gallaxy and the ANGI have not done a full on assault.

Their locations are litterally state secrets and often believed to 'sink' into a pocket universe just bellow the skin of normal space out of sight of others.

Others just say this is propoganda of the Altronians superiority. To which the Altronians will often smile and not dispute this, after all it helps keep then out of prying eyes.
